Students’ Loan Scheme for Social Security Studies This is an aspect of the ratified ILO Convention 102, designed to provide loans to students pursing academic studies in areas of social security at the post graduate level and this will be in conformity with international best practices e.g. Social security Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Ghana.

Many youths are indigent and lack access to educational opportunities thereby making them unemployable, disaffected and disgruntled thus gravitating towards anti-social and criminal behaviours.
On take off, the scheme will cover only post graduate programmes in social security studies, which will give loans covering tuition, books, accommodation and feeding for 2 academic sessions. NSITF will also offer employment opportunities to deserving beneficiaries of the scheme upon graduation as a corporate entity and also through its subsidiaries.
