...OUR SERVICES

Mass Housing Scheme/Owner Occupier The Mass Housing Scheme is an aspect of Family Benefit of the ILO Convention 102, which NSITF has had experience in the past (e.g. the provision of 146 medium income 2/3 bedroom flats at Karu). In particular, this will be generated from the Employees’ Compensation Scheme. This is with a view to assisting government in its desire to deliver affordable owner-occupier houses to particularly the low income group.

This will promote social inclusion, provision of decent homes and reduce slum dwelling with the attendant health hazards. Also, the spin-off effects on the ailing burnt brick factories and construction sites will be the creation of employment opportunities.

NSITF PLEDGE

The NSITF has 46 years cumulative experience in poverty alleviation schemes and therefore, can provide the platform upon which the government’s poverty alleviation programmes can be anchored.

NSITF is ready and prepared to play its important role as the provider of Social Security to all Nigerian citizens and thereby act as the Social Conscience of Government thus fulfilling the lofty social objectives enshrined in Chapter II of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 otherwise christened as “Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy”.
