Health & Safety Education
As part of the Employees’ Compensation Scheme, NSITF will promote Health and Safety Education through seminars, workshops and printing of posters and teaching aids to help prevent work place injuries and diseases. Other ways of encouraging healthy and safety work place will be explored like using labour Unions.
It is envisaged that in addition to reducing injuries and diseases in work places, workers’ productivity would increase.
NSITF PLEDGE
The NSITF has 46 years cumulative experience in poverty alleviation schemes and therefore, can provide the platform upon which the government’s poverty alleviation programmes can be anchored.
